1.An Equipment that you use in your everyday life

By the word, equipment we generally get the idea of various articles or gadgets that we use quite a lot in our day to day life. In my life, I also use a number of electronic equipments, but the object that is indispensable part of my life is my cell phone. It’s a Nokia 2690 hand set. In this era of smart phone and I-phone. I use quite a simple set, and frankly speaking, I’m content with it. I’ve been using it for 4 years, and so far it has never given me any serious technical trouble. The main function of my phone is to contact with my family members and friends. But I also use it for various other purposes. I’m literally addicted to music, and my phone provides me the greatest help to listen to songs all the while. I also use its recorder to record different songs. I generally browse internet through my phone. And while I’m studying, if I need to know the meaning of any word, I instantly open the dictionary that I’ve installed in my phone, makes my studies a lot easier. The memory card holds valuable pictures and documents which is really very close to my heart. Thus my phone serves me with various purposes, and last but not the least, my phone is also a good paper-weight sometimes!

2.A Restaurant that you like most/visit most/visit recently

Eating at restaurants is becoming more a necessity than a fashion among the people of Bangladesh. Sometimes we get tired of eating home cooked foods. Or, we need to give a treat to a couple of friends or family members within a very short notice. At that moment there is no better option than to go to a restaurant or a fast food shop in order to spend some delightful and cozy time together. There are numerous food shops and restaurants in Dhaka city, supporting the taste and affordability of people from every walk of life. Among all these options, the fast food shop that I enjoy to go to is KFC, elaborately called Kentucky Fried chicken. This is actually an international brand. KFC was founded in Morth corbin, Kentucky, in 1930. It’s the world’s 2nd largest restaurant chain overall (as measured by sales) with over 18,000 out lets in 120 countries and territories, as of December 2012. KFC was one of the first fast food chains to expand internationally, even a third world country like Bangladesh is included in that list. KFC comes up with the slogan Finger licking good, and this is seriously no exaggeration. They serve a large variety of food such as fried chicken, chicken burgers, wraps, french fries, soft drinks, salads, desserts, etc. These foods come in different types and sizes, the price also start at quite a low rate. So it is quite affordable for the people in Bangladesh. There are total 9 branches of KFC around Bangladesh. But I go at the Dhanmondi outlet most of the time. I find it as a warm and cozy place, there is always something yummy available to fill up my hungry tummy and mind! When I go with friends, we spend hours eating and gossiping there. The waiters are well behaved and we feel comfortable. It is a good place to really while having a meal, and I thoroughly enjoy my every visit there.

3.An Advertisement that you enjoyed

Advertisement is an important aspect to spread a message or to make any product know to mass people. The main purpose of an advertisement is to encourage people to purchase that product, among the common crowd or the elite society. Now-a-days, advertisements come in a various forms of media, Like TV, news paper, radio, etc. Some of these are quite interesting, some really catchy, some with vital messages. Recently I saw an advertisement of a satellite channel which really amused me a lot. I saw in the ad that a man was coming down the stairs early in the morning, rubbing his eyes, and with a bucket and a rug in his hand. He stopped before a very dirty car. With a grim face he starts washing the car. After spending much time and labor he completed cleaning the car, and stood arise to take a look at it. Then he notices his neighbor standing behind him, fully dressed to go to the office, and giving him the weirdest look ever possible! The neighbor clicks his car key and the cleaned car responds to that. He gets onto that car and drives away. As soon as it moves away, there stood a dirty car standing behind it, the same model as the other car! The man who was cleaning all this while looked really shocked and distressed! The message here was, if you don’t sleep properly in the night, you can very possibly make such stupid mistake! It was an advertisement of a mattress company, named curl-On, and I found this ad extremely hilarious!

4.A Gift

Giving or receiving gifts in a various occasions is a common and popular trend among people all over the world for centuries. It is because one expresses his love, affection and thoughts for other through a gift. Generally people love to receive a gift than to give away one. A gift can be given due to an occasion like birthday, graduation, marriage anniversary and so on or even without any occasion. In my case, till now, the most memorable gift of my life was given to me by my elder cousin on my last birthday. He presented me with three books

5.A Festival of your Country E/An Event that you enjoy Most

According to dictionary language, Festival is a day or period of the Year when people stop working to celebrate a special event. Every nation has her own festivals according to her cultures and tradition. Usually festivals are categorized in two different genres, the cultural ones and the religious ones. In the perspective of my country, we have religious festivals like Eid, Puja, Buddha Purnima & Chirstmas Day. Again, we have cultural festivals like Pahela Baisakh, Language Day, and Victory Day and so on. And if you ask me to name my most favorite among all these auspicious occasions, I’d say it’s Pahela Baisakh, the Beginning of Bangla New Year. Traditionally, it used to be the day when the rural Bangladeshi people marked the beginning of a new year. In order to make it a special and joyous day .They dressed them in their fine clothes, paid a visit to the local Zameen dar’s big house, repaid their due debt to him. Even the usually cruel Zameendar behaved gently on that day, greeted his people with sweets and exchanged gretings. Merchants opened their New Year book called halkhata some of the families also arranged special prayers asking God for happiness and success to arrive in the coming year. But, in due course of urbanization, it is no more a rural festival. Rather, city people celebrate this day with new colorful clothes, songs, rallies, fairs, concerts and so on. people get up very early on this day. After grooming themselves in new clothes they get out of their house. Many go at the Ramna Batamul to enjoy various cultural programs. Afterwards they join a rally arranged by the students of IFA. Actually the whole day is packed with various cultural functions. Fairs are arranged in different spots of the city. But the main theme is to leave behind all the malice’s and miseries and start a new year with fresh hopes and determination.images.jpggyyugyugyifty Recent Cue Cards in Bangladesh (with free solution)

  1. Sir, Very Good. I think your word & sentence are very easy to understand for viewer But you try to touch them very street way. I think you should do more explanation about main topics before discussion about the topics.Because viewer can get more idea about the matter. They can think more & more. Your topics has constituency but viewer are not regular. Maximum viewer read or learn only their necessary part from your lecture. For this they can miss your theme. If they have any confusion they can’t ask you or can’t request to repeat it indeed time.
